Summer School

2025 Program Details:

Dates: June 9th – June 27th, with Thursday, June 19th off to celebrate the Juneteenth holiday

Hours: 8:30–11:30, Monday–Friday

Elementary classes consist of a maximum of five students and one teacher with structured instruction in reading, writing, and math skills, just like our school-year program. Teachers create a theme woven throughout the academic subjects and based on the group’s interests. Systematic, academic work will focus on skills maintenance and is individualized to best suit each student’s needs and the class as a whole.

Middle School classes have a maximum of six students with one teacher and emphasize instruction in the skills most critical to success in middle school. Literacy instruction will focus on reading comprehension and retention through effective note-taking strategies, as well as organizing and creating an expository essay with assistive technology. Math instruction will center around developing number sense and fluency skills and solidifying mid-level math concepts.
