What We Offer

Learning Evaluations
The Zarlengo Foundation’s Learning Evaluation Center (LEC) is expanding to Boulder with a new location at Hillside School & Center for Dyslexia. This expansion increases access to comprehensive, multidisciplinary evaluations for children and young adults across the Front Range. Evaluations are designed to clarify learning profiles, identify strengths, and provide clear guidance for families and educators.

Free Guidance for Families

Kathy’s Office Hours provide families with a free, one-on-one opportunity to connect directly with Kathy Sherman, Co-Founder of Hillside School & Center for Dyslexia. These informal consultations are designed for parents and caregivers who have questions about dyslexia or learning concerns, whether they are just beginning to notice signs or trying to determine next steps.

Meetings may be virtual or in person and offer a supportive space to ask questions, gain clarity, and explore available resources. There is no cost and no obligation. The goal is simply to help families feel informed, supported, and confident as they navigate their child’s learning journey.

Untapped at Hillside

Untapped Learning offers executive function coaching on Hillside’s campus. This partnership supports students who benefit from help with organization, time management, planning, and self regulation. Untapped at Hillside provides another layer of support for families seeking practical tools that extend beyond academics.

BVKID Parent Support Group Meetings

Through our partnership with BVKID, families are invited to participate in parent support group meetings hosted at Hillside. These gatherings create space for connection, shared experiences, and practical guidance for parents raising children with dyslexia. Meetings offer community, reassurance, and the reminder that families do not have to navigate this journey alone.

 Professional Development for Educators
Empower your teaching team with evidence-based strategies and tools to support students with dyslexia. From workshops to in-depth training sessions, our professional development programs equip educators to create inclusive, supportive classrooms.

Hilltopics: Our Speaker Series
Join us for Hilltopics, our inspiring speaker series that brings together experts, advocates, and thought leaders in the field of dyslexia. These events offer invaluable insights, practical strategies, and a sense of community for parents, educators, and professionals.

Dyslexia Resources
Navigate the journey of dyslexia with confidence using our curated resources. From articles and tools to community connections, our resource hub is designed to inform, guide, and inspire everyone touched by dyslexia.
